Pops of Pink and Camo

Happy Monday, friends!

There are a number of patterns that I tend to reserve for fall and winter, one of which is camo. What I love about the classic color scheme is that it can serve as a neutral, allowing for you to either create an outfit entirely comprised of neutrals or experiment with pops of color of your choice, today I chose pink. I love the juxtaposition that pink creates when added into the mix, balancing out the rather tough and edgy vibe the camo gives off. Cozy Weekend: Orange Sweater and Flared Jeans

Happy Friday, my beautiful friends!

You all know how I love my cozy outfits for the weekends and since we're in November, what better time to pull out a cozy orange sweater?! Well, except for October, but you guys, when I think of November, I think of orange, so bear with me, haha.

A couple of weeks ago, I shared a weekend outfit featuring these same flares with a cozy cardigan and ankle boots. This time around, I wanted to dress them up a bit more with a pair of leopard pointed-toe pumps. Honestly, they're my favorite kind of shoe (pointed-toe), they just add a dresser vibe, regardless of the shoe style and make for a much more flattering ensemble overall. I've shared countless times how they can help lengthen the leg area, making them the perfect option for every body type and height.

Mustard Yellow

Happy Humpday, friends!

How's you're week going so far!? I've mentioned at the start of fall that mustard yellow is one of the popular color trends this season and it makes for a super trendy outfit when paired with pink, as we've discussed in this post. I feel since it's a bit of an uncommon color, we can often scratch our heads at the thought of trying to think of colors that would make for a great combination. Aside from pink, I think shades of purple work just as great, though not as unexpected. I mean, I'm not going to lie, I do think of the LA Lakers. I know, me and my color analogies; remember the mustard and red color combo?! Yup, I bet you now think of McDonalds after reading that post, lol!
