BLAZER: Similar TEE | JEANS: Similar PURSE C/O SNEAKERS

Happy Friday my sweet friends!

Does it feel weird seeing me in sneakers? It feels weird seeing myself in them on the blog, lol. These are actually my first legit pair that aren't workout sneakers. Prior to having Aviah, I didn't own any to just wear out and about because I'd always just wear my heels, flats, or sandals during the warmer months. Oh how times have changed! I actually just noticed that I've worn flats all week on the blog, which I believe is the first...ever! They're just much more practical for me these days, though I'd never turn my back on my beloved heels!

TOP: Similar  BELT | BAG C/O SHOES | RING | WATCH C/O

Happy Wednesday friends!

So, I love this top! Lol. I wore it here on the blog last week (see here) and I couldn't resist wearing it again, yet in a very different way. Last week, I styled it with a green leather jacket. Today I'm styling it with a different shade of green in the form of a purse. Last Monday, some of you mentioned that you're not too fond of the color green and I totally get it. It wasn't my fave up until recently.

Happy Tuesday my beautiful friends!

I'm back with yet another trend report for the season and this one I'm actually quite surprised I'm loving, polka dots! I've never really been one to love or gravitate towards this print. I guess it was because I never found pieces that featured it in a more modern or contemporary design, until now. The designs I've been seeing lately are more of the moment or do have a vintage feel but in a more practical way that isn't as retro. I also love the color variations, ranging from the classic black and white to peach or baby blue that are perfect for the spring season.

BLOUSE C/O BELT | JEANS | BAG C/O SHOES

Happy Monday my sweet friends!

I've decided to restyle this gorgeous blouse I first wore on the blog towards the end of fall (see here). In that post, I added rich, saturated shades of burgundy to enhance the seasonal vibe. This time around, I've added pops of green, which I've already mentioned is the color I'm loving most this spring season in this post. The lighter color brightens the overall look and changes the mood entirely. This is what I love most about printed pieces that feature various colors, it allows for you to pull out any of the colors already found in the top, which can help to change the tone and overall feel of your outfit. The ditsy florals have a more playful mood, typical of the '70s, as opposed to some other trending florals, such as roses, that tend to lend themselves to a more passionate and romantic vibe.

SWEATER | JEANS: Similar SHOES

Happy Wednesday my sweet friends!

I hope you're all having a great week so far! By the time you're reading this, it's most likely snowing quite a lot here in Connecticut...again! Apparently spring didn't get the memo that she was to arrive yesterday. March always seems to lend itself to being one of those fickle months that's just too unpredictable anyway. I, of course, am not wearing this outfit as we speak, it's what I wore yesterday. These are the loafers I was telling you about in Monday's post that I've been obsessed with ever since I got them about week or so ago.

Happy Monday my beautiful friends!

As for today's outfit, it features a color that I'm absolutely loving for spring this year, green. To be honest, I never was one to embrace the color. It never really spoke to me, until the past couple of years, but more so these past few weeks. I had a few pieces here and there in my wardrobe, but was never all that eager to style them as frequently as my other vibrant colors. I think it all started with this BLANKNYC jacket I scored a couple of years ago during the NSale. It, unfortunately, doesn't seem to be available, as I scoured the web in hopes of finding it to no avail. However, I was able to hunt down an incredibly similar style by Levi's

Happy Friday friends,

Well, where do I begin.

It's been what seems like forever since my last blog post and a lot has transpired since then. If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, then you know that we lost power for four days, starting last Wednesday as a result of storm Quinn.

Happy Wednesday my sweet friends!

About a month ago, I received the L'Oreal Elnett vox box, courtesy of Influenster, which contained the extra strong hold hairspray for dry/damaged hair from the collection. As you all know, I predominately use organic or all natural beauty products, so I was a bit reluctant to give this hairspray a try. What persuaded me was that it contains argon oil, which is what my shampoo and conditioner set contain (see that post here). I don't really use hairspray because I haven't found one that I truly love, perhaps until now.

Happy Monday my sweet friends!

Anyway, today's outfit is one that is perfect for the start of spring, though we're not having the most glorious weather here on the east cost. There's yet another storm watch for this upcoming weekend, which I hope we dodge because we have a couple of family festivities planned that I'd hate to see get post-poned. At the start of spring, it's still rather chilly, even though it may initially feel much warmer than it is, particularly if we've been experiencing a frigid winter. A great outfit formula that's so easy to put together is one that involves...
