BLAZER: Similar | TEE | JEANS: Similar | PURSE C/O | SNEAKERS
Happy Friday my sweet friends!
Does it feel weird seeing me in sneakers? It feels weird seeing myself in them on the blog, lol. These are actually my first legit pair that aren't workout sneakers. Prior to having Aviah, I didn't own any to just wear out and about because I'd always just wear my heels, flats, or sandals during the warmer months. Oh how times have changed! I actually just noticed that I've worn flats all week on the blog, which I believe is the first...ever! They're just much more practical for me these days, though I'd never turn my back on my beloved heels!
I will say that these sneakers feel as though they run a tad big, maybe by half a size in case you're interested. Also, the tee I'm wearing runs quite small as well. I had to send it back and get the largest size and as you can see, it doesn't look too big for an XL! It's actually a crop top, but I don't typically wear them without high waisted bottoms, since I prefer not to show my stomach. Plus, I liked the idea of this tee as a full on t-shirt. The XL is the only size left, unfortunately, but if you're like me and prefer to not reveal your full midsection, then I'd suggest it, but do note that it'll still be a bit cropped, so you'd have to wear it with high waisted bottoms to get the full t-shirt look.
What I really love about the shirt is that it resembles the heavily popular Gucci tee in its design and I love that it says Saturday, which you may not have otherwise known, since I've paired it with a blazer. The only downside is that in order for it to make sense, you'd have to wear the shirt strictly on Saturdays, but I'd be tempted to wear it any other day because I'd like to believe that everyday is Saturday, who's with me?
When it comes to weekend style, you know I like to go for a more relaxed and casual look. If I want to dress things up a bit, a blazer is a super easy fix and one that looks so good and stylish with graphic tee's paired with denim or leather.
Do you have specific pieces you reserve for weekends only?
Thanks for stopping by, my beautiful friends, and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I also want to wish all those who are observing Holy Week a very Happy Good Friday and Easter. Let me know how you'll be celebrating!
XO,
