Today's outfit features a detail I've recently shared my love for and that's crochet. It really is a perfect summer detail that's a great (casual) alternative to lace, giving off more of a beachy, boho vibe, as opposed to sophisticated and elegant, which may be something you're looking for depending on the event or occasion.
I have a couple of crochet pieces, but one of my favorites is this crochet overlay skirt. I love skirts with an overlay because they add an ultra feminine and flirty feel to the piece. They're also great options for those who may feel a bit insecure about their legs, since it provides some additional (breathable) coverage! No more excuses for not allowing your legs to breathe this summer, ladies! There was a time I was very insecure about my legs because they had stretch marks, cellulite, and varicose veins. I would constantly wear jeans or pants in the summer to conceal them, while sweating bullets, so I know how you feel, but I encourage you to consider dresses and skirts that feature this overlay detail, I can assure you that you'll look and feel amazing, I promise!
