Today we're discussing three of the top shoe trends this fall season: the '90s inspired mule, the Victorian inspired velvet, and the menswear inspired kiltie.To be honest, I personally think that all three of these shoe styles can be worn for years to come without appearing dated because they're practical for the fall season overall.

There are a couple of styling techniques that I'm particularly fond of, such as color blocking, but today we'll be talking about one that I feel is practical for everyone, regardless of personal style and that's creating an outfit with a juxtaposition. In case you're not familiar with this term, it's basically combining two or more pieces in a look that have complete opposite effects or styles, think tulle skirt and a leather moto jacket.

This is the outfit I wore for my birthday dinner last weekend with just Eddie and myself. He had been raving about this Italian restaurant for several months, boasting that it would be the best Italian food I've ever had in my life. So I had high hopes, haha, and to be honest, indeed it was! The name is Angelo's Ristorante and it's in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. Ah, you have to go if you're in the area, you won't regret it!
