Happy Monday my beautiful friends!

As many of you know, I've been testing a few moisturizers for the past several months and for the most part, I've been quite satisfied with the results I've noticed with each moisturizer I've tried. As I was nearing the end of the one I've been recently using, though I loved that moisturizer, I was thinking about testing another brand, but I didn't know which one should be next, so I kept holding off. I typically like stock up on a product when I notice I'm nearing the end, so that I don't run out and have absolutely nothing to use. I still had some time to think about which product I'd like to try, so when I received the Influenster Vox Box with the OleHenriksen C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme to test out, I was very excited and eager to try. So much so that I didn't both finishing the one I'd been using, instead keeping it on stand by should this one not work out for me.

Happy Wednesday my lovely friends!

Today I'm sharing my thoughts on two products I received back when I was a few months pregnant with Aviah from Aveda's Pramasana collection. I didn't use them while pregnant because I was super paranoid about trying new products. I began using them a few weeks postpartum and they've been staples in my haircare routine ever since. I tend to use them at least once a week becasue my hair is fine and oily by nature, so the fact that they provide a deep cleaning to the scalp is perfect for me.

Happy Wednesday my sweet friends!

About a month ago, I received the L'Oreal Elnett vox box, courtesy of Influenster, which contained the extra strong hold hairspray for dry/damaged hair from the collection. As you all know, I predominately use organic or all natural beauty products, so I was a bit reluctant to give this hairspray a try. What persuaded me was that it contains argon oil, which is what my shampoo and conditioner set contain (see that post here). I don't really use hairspray because I haven't found one that I truly love, perhaps until now.

Happy Thursday my sweet friends!

Today, I'm brining you yet another review on a skin mask I've been testing out for about a month courtesy of Alya Skin. I've mentioned a number of times how much I love using clay masks and how I use them nearly every Sunday in preparation for a new week (see my last post here).

Happy Thursday my sweet friends!

Today, I'm reviewing a straightening brush from HerStyler. When the folks over at HerStyler provided me with the opportunity to review one of their hot tools, I immediately took the opportunity to try out their straight brush pro. I'd been hearing a lot about straightening brushes, but had never tried them before. I either blow dry my hair or use a flat iron (which they also offer) so I thought this would be a great time to try one out and see how it works. Keep reading for my thoughts on it, as well as a step-by-step tutorial on what I did to achieve the finished look.

Happy Tuesday my sweet friends!

I hope you're having a great day so far. Today, I'm sharing my current morning skincare routine. As with anything else, the use of some of these products may change at some point, especially since I like to try out new skincare when I'm out of a particular product. I enjoy reading what products others' use. In fact, this is how I'm often introduced to new brands and products. Some, I've come to know through former collaborations.

Happy Tuesday my sweets!

Today, I'm sharing my thoughts on two products from Aveda's Tulāsara Wedding Masque collection, the night and eye creams. These products were sent to me to test out back when I was pregnant with Aviah, but I didn't begin using them until days after I came home from the hospital after having her because I was in dire need of some TLC. As I've mentioned in a previous skincare post, I didn't truly begin to take my skincare regimen seriously until after having Aviah. Not only have I realized the importance of taking care of my skin, but it gives me a few minutes of some me time. It feels good to know that I'm doing something that is good for me, too :)

Happy Tuesday my sweet friends!

Since having Aviah, I don't usually have much time to do my makeup as I once did, which has resulted in me in paying more mind to my skin care regimen. This routine doesn't take forever to do, so it's perfect for a new mom, like myself, who doesn't have much extra time on her hands. I'm not going to discuss my entire routine step-by-step in this post, though if you're interested, I can in another. Today, I'm specifically narrowing in on the face masks that I've been using for quite a few months and that I absolutely adore.

Happy Friday my sweet friends!

About a month ago, Influenster sent me a vox box filled with some goodies to test out. I always look forward to being selected by them for their vox boxes because I've discovered some great brands and products through those boxes. Since having Aviah, though, I've been more selective about my skincare and products I'm willing to try. When I was pregnant, my entire skincare regimen changed and since then, I've continued to restrict my products to mostly all natural, organic, and paraben free. Since I'm nursing, I'm super paranoid about chemicals being absorbed through my skin. This isn't to say that I only use these kind of products, but 90% off my makeup and beauty collection is.

Happy Friday my gorgeous friends!

A little over two months ago, the folks over at Botanics reached out to me to review a few of their products, their toning spritzhydrating day moisturizer with sage, and makeup remover wipes. I was so excited to learn of this brand that I had not heard of before, mainly because they're organic and their ingredients are quite interesting. After having Aviah, I've been paying more mind to my skin, which Eddie refers to as my "project." Most days, I don't have the time to put on a full glam face, let alone any makeup at all, so I've vowed to take better care of my skin, so I'll feel more confident going makeup free when needed and I have been.
