Now that the weather is beginning to change, I'm getting more and more excited because that means that I can start to wear and style some of my most favorite pieces, which are more spring and summer appropriate. Although the season is beginning to change and spring is on it's way in a week or so, the weather has been a bit fickle. That being said, I wanted to combine darker, more winter colored tones, with more light and feminine colors, which are typically seen and worn during the spring season. I love the navy and light pink combination, with gold accents, as seen in the look. As for my boots, I get asked this question a lot, followed by compliments, "are those comfortable, they look like they hurt?" The answer is "no, they look intimidating, but they are honestly the most comfortable shoes I own!" I've spent hours wearing these babies and my feet don't hurt at all. I purchased them a while back at Payless, from the Christian Siriano line. I believe they were somewhere around $50 and I have designer shoes that are a lot more than these and are quite uncomfortable, go figure!
