Hello Beautiful Ladies!
I hope you all are having a wonderful start to the weekend thus far! Last night, Eddie and I decided to go to Red Lobster instead of another restaurant since my birthday is tomorrow and he's taking me out tonight to celebrate at one of my favorite restaurants that I've featured on the blog, Mulino's of Westchester. We've become so accustomed to documenting our date nights for Friday nights, so we decided that we had to go somewhere!
APPETIZER: Seafood Sampler
ENTRÉE: Wood-Grilled Lobster, Shrimp, and Scallops (Eddie & I both had the same thing!)
AS FOR THE OUTFIT...
It was a little chilly last night, so I chose to wear my comfy Cynthia Rowley sweater, which you've seen in my video on styling cobalt (HERE). I went with a monochromatic look and broke up the grey a bit by wearing these black ankle boots. I opted for these Nine West ankle boots instead of the ones I showed in my video on selecting the best shoes for your body shape video (HERE) because these are what I had more in mind. Going back to my monochromatic look, you know how much I stress the importance of you petite ladies creating these types of looks, since it visually lengthens you. I also wanted to show an example of a look to give an idea, as well as to demonstrate how you can kind of break things up a bit in the shoe area, if you feel it would be a bit much doing a grey boot. However, I would suggest you do so if you have shorter legs and a longer torso and just break it up on top, perhaps by adding a black leather jacket. This will lengthen the leg area while not exaggerating the length of your torso, creating proportion.
