We made it to Friday, girlies, whoohoo!
This relaxed outfit is perfect for the weekend, especially as we near Labor Day weekend. It has that beachy, nautical vibe, mainly due to the striped linen pants, which I could basically live in, they're SO comfy!
Not only are they comfy, they're super flattering, too, because of the vertical stripes. I coupled them with one of my favorite style of tops of all time to just throw on and go, the dolman. Ah, you guys, this material, even though it's a semi-synthetic, it's still so comfy; I believe it's modal, ever heard of it? I purchased a few others in different colors at Marshalls because when I love something so much, I try to get it in as many colors as I can because why not and when I don't, I almost always regret it.
I tucked the top into my pants to avoid looking frumpy, since both pieces are quite loose, and to re-establish my waistline. Whenever you're styling two oversized pieces, I suggest you tuck in your top, even if you're going for a relaxed, laid back vibe, it's way more figure flattering and it doesn't look as though you're lost underneath all that fabric, particularly if you're petite.
