Hello Babes!
This outfit is a very urban look, one I used to sport more often when I was in my teens. Growing up in an urban environment, The Bronx, NY, urban fashion was pretty huge and spotted all around. I had to bring it back with a leather jacket, graphic tee, sneakers, and my hoop earrings. There was a time that all I would wear were these huge ghetto fabulous hoops, lol! My friends would actually joke and put there hands through my earrings, that's how big they were! But as we get older and become inspired by different things, our personal styles begin to evolve and we catch ourselves wearing or liking things we would've never even considered before, am I right?!
Urban fashion is still represented and spotted on the streets all throughout NYC and you can choose to go for a head-to-toe look as I did here, or choose certain pieces, like a pair of high top sneakers mixed with a more trendy look. There is also a toughness and confidence that comes along with this particular style, which is amazing to me how each style or theme offers a sentiment in of itself, that's how strong and powerful fashion and style is! I would consider my style to be more eclectic now, since I like experimenting and playing around with different styles, trends, prints, fabrics, etc. I also believe it's what makes me more relatable to all of you. You may not be too fond of one look I create, yet another will and the next day you may feel more inspired than someone else. This, to me, is key as a style blogger and stylist, if I'm not inspiring you, then what's the point, right?!
