This week's W3 post is all about color blocking. It's a trend that's been around for quite some time now and I don't see it leaving anytime soon. I know that it can be a bit intimidating, considering that a lot of the common pairings are loud and vibrant. There are, however, other aspects of color blocking that aren't so intense and are perfect for those of you who want to experiment with it, especially in the office. I would suggest using the color scheme method, which is pairing colors that are within the same color palette together. This will make for a less intense overall look, yet still have a bit of contrast since the colors are different in shade. This combination method is perfect for those of you who are petite, since it's also considered a monochrome look; I've mentioned many times how monochrome has a visual lengthening effect.
Another point of point of interest, is that you can mix and match any of the three colors used in either outfits to create another look!
So what do you think? Will you be giving these looks a try?!
