Happy Monday, loves!

You guys know that sometimes I like to style these fun and creative looking outfits, which I feel simply "work" with the current mood I'm in, which to me is key. An outfit shouldn't always be something that clothes your body, but one that embraces it, yet tells who you are and what you're about. As Rachel Zoe once said, "style is saying who you are without having to speak." As you can tell by some of the photos, I was definitely in a more playful mood, which is reflected in the entire ensemble.

If you follow me on my other social media outlets, you then know I just recently purchased this Kate Spade purse I'm sporting, from Marshall's for an amazing deal. I had originally wanted it in pink, but it's followed by a long disappointing story, which I'll spare you from, lol! Now that I have the red one, I'm not only being challenged to embrace the romantic love induced color, which I never really felt went with me.

I'm all about versatility and practicality and make my purchases based on those two huge principles for me. I think, how am I going to where this more than once? I then create a few pairings in my head, using pieces in my current wardrobe, followed by the purchase. This is something I suggest you do, too. Don't simply purchase something because it's a good deal, think about how and where you can wear it and how you'd get good use out of it, your closet and wallet will thank you! That being said, you will definitely be seeing more outfit pairings centered around this purse, perhaps giving you all some ideas on how to style a red purse you have or have been eyeing.

You know I'm always stressing the importance of creating outfits that create a visual balance to truly compliment and flatter your body shape and frame. When it comes to these attention getting leggings, I like to pair them with larger more voluminous pieces, which I did here with this tank I added to my closet years ago, I'm talking about 6 years ago! I felt the color blended well, as well as the fabrics and would make for a nice statement ensemble. Although my hips are larger, with this blouse they don't look over powering at all.

So what do you think of the look?!
