Golden Empress

Hello fab ladies & gents!

I woke up this morning feeling totally inspired by those old movies, like Cleopatra, where an empress of the ancient times ruled the city. I went searching through my closet to find the right pieces that could help depict my inspiration clearly and I found this Caché top that I rarely wear. I chose to combine it with this empress like necklace from Express and studded Steve Madden shoes. I knew I needed to combine enough gold pieces to create the look I was going for, since in those days women strictly wore gold an jewels. I also very rarely style my hair this way, which in most cases can give off a very bohemian vibe, however, I felt when combined with this type of look, it would enhance the female ruler vibe that I was going for. What do you guys think? Do you like this look?! I was totally having fun and taking my imagination to the next level, which truly makes playing with clothes that much more fun and exciting. It's almost as if I was the costume designer for my very own play!
