I hope 2018 has been treating you well so far! In case you missed it, yesterday I shared an open letter summing up my thoughts on 2017 and what my aspirations are for the new year in case you're interested in reading :)
Though the holiday season is officially over, I'm sure there are a few people that you've forgot to include in your holiday shopping or were given gifts by people you didn't expect and felt bad that you didn't get them anything in return. I know that's happen to me a few times and after spending so much during the holidays, sometimes our wallets don't necessarily want to open so widely for additional gifts. That's when knowing where to shop really comes to play. JcPenney has been a store that I've grown up shopping at. I've shopped there a number of times for Aviah, since they carry our favorite baby clothes brand, Carter's.
They're extremely affordable (they always have awesome sales and promotions, too!) and have so many different departments to shop from, which makes narrowing down on what and who you're shopping for much easier. What I love is that they have a Sephora department. So, if some products you've been eyeing are sold out at the Sephora store, you can try your luck here! The Erno Laszlo sample set is from the department and would make a great gift for stuffing into the monogram makeup-bag!
In the set above, I've included some general or basic products that nearly every woman would love and use, regardless of personal style. What makes it better is that everything is under $50, which makes getting gifts for multiple people much more practical. I love the monogram mug set, which would make the perfect gift for a couple who may have hosted a holiday party you've attended or perhaps are planning to get married this year!
