Happy Friday my sweet friends!
How many of you own a LWD (little white dress)? It wasn't until a couple of years ago that I added one to my wardrobe and ever since then, I've been wanting to add in various styles. The only one I had up until this point was an eyelet shift dress, which I absolutely love, but now that I'm a mom, it's not as practical as I'd like it to be. So, I felt it was the best time to search for a new addition and I came across this one that's ticked off all the boxes, making it the perfect summer dress.
First off, it's linen and it doesn't get much better than that for those super hot days when it's just too hot to focus. It has the cutest ruffle details along the sleeves and hem and it features one of the flattering details we discussed in Wednesday's post, it has a wrap design. It comes in two other colors, which I'm very tempted to buy because in all honesty, this is the most comfortable dress I've ever worn.
Now, I know a few of you mamas have mentioned in some of my previous all white posts that you can't get away with wearing white around your littles for obvious reasons. Aviah is still quite little, so she hasn't become that messy, but I'm bracing myself because as soon as she's mastered walking on her own and then running, I know I'll have to reserve my white pieces for errand runs and date nights, when we resume them.
Speaking of Aviah, as mentioned on Monday, her birthday party is on Sunday! I'm just tying up some loose ends, but everything is pretty much set. I've been feeling an array of emotions ranging from excited to sad (that she's growing so fast). I'm sure many of you mamas can relate.
I also wanted to share this name plate necklace you may have notice me wearing lately; it's courtesy of oNecklace. They make all sorts of personalized jewelry in sterling silver, plated to 14k white/gold and comes with a certificate of authentication, which was really impressive to me. To celebrate Aviah turning one, I decided to have her name written in Hebrew, since that's her name origin, which is translated G-d is my Father. Aside from my wedding rings, this necklace has become one of my most special pieces. If you're looking to design a name plate for yourself or to give as a gift, I highly suggest you look into their pieces.
Thanks so much for stopping by, my sweet friends. Be sure to check out my IG Stories on Sunday, as I'll be sharing some clips of the party! Have a great weekend!
XO,
