Happy Monday my dear friends!
Would you believe that Aviah will be turning one month on Wednesday?! Please, someone tell me where in the world is time going, seriously! I know they say that time goes even faster when you become a parent, but I mean common! I can't handle this. Yesterday, she fit into a pair of shoes my mother bought for her and she looked so big, I wanted to take them off and not deal with it, lol.
Anyway....
Though I've lost most of my pregnancy weight, which I truly accredit to breastfeeding and eating healthy during the weekdays, I still have some baby weight here and there and when I say there I mean in my lower midsection. Yes, I do have a kangaroo pooch, haha. This is why I'm all the more excited to wear these blue striped pants I purchased last year because they're ultra slimming, since they're vertical stripes and I have the option to wear them high-waisted or low on the waist. Prior to pregnancy, I wore them lower, but since I want to conceal my pooch, I pulled them higher to emphasize my waistline and draw the eye in, not out.
I plan on sharing what I did to help gain a healthy baby weight when I was pregnant, since I've received quite a few questions regarding how I was able to lose the weight so quickly. Trust me, as much as I want to, I haven't been given the clear to resume my workout regimen yet. I believe it's, once again, the breastfeeding, current diet, and what I did throughout my entire pregnancy that has made it easier. My first week home, I lost 16lbs and obviously didn't even try or pay mind to the weight, it just fell off. This is not because my body sheds weight effortlessly, I did some key things that I want to share with you expecting (or soon to be) mamas that YOU can do as well, so keep an eye out for that post!
Thanks so much for stopping by, my dear friends, and I hope you have the most amazing week ahead!
XO,
