Happy Wednesday my dear friends!
If you're a regular reader, you would've noticed that yesterday I didn't share a post. I was just way too tired from the shower, I didn't have the brain nor creative power to create a post. Though the shower is technically for me and baby, I'm one of those people that loves to see people enjoy themselves, so I was doing a little co-hosting with my mom, who was the actual host, in ensuring everyone was enjoying themselves and eating well. I'll be sharing some photos on Friday of the food and setup and I'll try to find one of me by myself. I absolutely love the dress I went with, which had an embroidered overlay; I have to show it to you! Anyway, the posting schedule this week will be M,W,F and I'll be catching up with comments in between, since again, I've been so tired, I haven't been able to respond as fast, but I will!
As for this outfit, it's one I've worn quite often actually. I purchased this black swing dress last year because I fell in love with the fit and material, it's just such a great basic to have. Now that my bump is getting bigger (and bigger and bigger by the day lol) I appreciate it even more because it isn't at all restricting and grows with me, which is awesome. I mentioned in Monday's post that pieces that have a great stretch are great for wearing during and after pregnancy and allows for you to generally purchase your pre-pregnancy size, same is true for a swing dress, since it's such a loose fit.
I decided to style the dress in a way that's light and airy, so I didn't add much other than some gold jewelry and camel wedge sandals (so comfy, btw) because black and camel are such a gorgeous color combo, why not?!
