Woohoo, it's Friday, friends!
I can't even begin to tell you how long I've been waiting for this week to end! Don't get me wrong, I love each day and try to make the best of each I'm blessed with, but after the holidays ended, this week has been a complete whirlwind! Has anyone else been feeling like this, this week?!
Anyhoo, a color combo I felt in the mood for today's look was cobalt and orchid. I simply love these two colors together, they compliment each other rather nicely! I think with the grey sweater (my fave) thrown into the mix, it makes for a bold, yet practical combination. You may have noticed that I tend to wear both the bag and shoes together quite often when wearing this color and I do this when I specifically want to create a cohesive flow within my pairing. This is a styling strategy that I highly suggest to all my taller fashionistas out there. I personally stand at 5'8, which I don't consider to be all that tall. However, for those of you who are 5'10 and taller, I think incorporating points of interest within the same color or hue helps to break up your look and body into sections, which tends to be more flattering overall. While I do think that taller ladies can pull of monochromatic looks just as good as the average or more petite girl, I feel that adding focal points really help to distinguish the body and shape, as well as your height, instead of just your height.
As always, I hope you found this post helpful! What are your favorite color combinations? Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have an amazing weekend!
Xo,
