How do you all feel about Pantone's selection for the color of the year 2017? If you don't know, green has been chosen and not just any green, a somewhat of a lime green shade. The reason it was chosen is to signify new beginnings and revitalization. Quite inspiring, huh?! Well, I understand that not everyone may be fond of this shade, though I can't say I mind it, it's quite pretty if you can think outside of the box.

Statement clothing has been trending for some time now. We've talked about embroidery last week and today, it's all about embellishments! I love pieces that have details on them, especially when around the neckline of a dress or top because it takes away the need for finding the perfect necklace, one less thing to worry about when getting dressed, now who doesn't love that? They're a bit fancier than embroidery, which can have more of an edgy or boho vibe depending on the other elements in the piece, making them a great option for when you want to effortlessly dress up your outfit or are in a rush and want to look polished and put together.

I'm now 28 weeks (7mths) and I honestly can't believe how fast time is going. It's weird, sometimes I feel as though time is going by really fast, yet other times I feel like I have such a long way to go to meet Baby A. I think it just may be my excitement :)
I've shared with you my struggles in searching for a pair of maternity jeans for the past few weeks. I'm glad to report that I've finally found a pair, which were super affordable (under $40). It took just a couple of weeks ago for me to actually find them (I'll be styling and talking about them in an upcoming blog post) but before that, you know that I've been pretty much sticking to my all time favorite denim, all of which are non-maternity.
