I have been sharing with all of you my essentials for every working woman's closet, and today, I bring to you yet another, the sheath dress. The reason that I feel that it's such an essential is because it is extremely versatile. It can be worn to an interview, wedding, regular work day, conference, business meeting, dinner date, and everything in between. I would say if you work in a business setting, definitely consider purchasing a few of these in the basics: black, grey, and navy, then build on it with patterns and different colors, if your job permits. If not, then like I've mentioned many times here in the W3 section, play it up with accessories. I would also suggest if you are not able to wear bright colors at the office, or you're not one who cares for color that much, then go for a dress like the one below from New York & Company, their Diamond Cut-Out Sheath Dress. It offers a bit of interest at the most flattering part of every woman, the neck and collar bone area. It gives the false illusion of a collar because of the cut out shape, so even if you cannot wear too much color or like to keep things minimal, then focus on the details found in the dress. You know the saying, "the smallest things always count."
