Today feels a lot like autumn because it's a bit more chilly outside, 61° degrees! So I felt it was the perfect day to wear this pairing that I've been wanting to wear ever since I purchased this cropped sweater at the beginning of the month. As soon as I brought it home, I thought it would look amazing with these teal ankle skinnies that I had for a while now. To enhance the fall vibe, I went for a bold cranberry lip (which I've been sporting a lot lately) and my bordeaux colored Louis Vuitton purse, since the color falls into the cranberry color category. I love the way the look turned out and I hope you do, too!
I feel that this outfit is perfect for all of the body shapes, since we have color contrasts, which keeps the entire look interesting and not just one section or piece. However, I will suggest for the apple shape to go up a size when working with cropped sweaters or even you hourglass ladies who have larger busts. The reason is since you have a larger bust or perhaps a larger stomach area, the sweater will most likely make your bust appear larger, since it will cause the sweater to come up higher. If you go for a size that's a bit larger than what you typically wear, it'll still have the cropped appearance but without making your bust appear larger or have your stomach showing. When you're a pear or rectangular shape, the bust is not that large (generally speaking), so you're able to wear a cropped sweater in your actual size, most of the time, and not have it come up extremely high.
