Yesterday was a bit busy for us and as a result, we didn't end up taking my outfit of the day shots until late at night. Since we took them so late, I decided it was best to post them earlier today.
As you all may have realized, I've really been into dark and colored lips this season, which I mentioned in my Sweater Weather Tag video, so I was inspired to create this outfit by my lipstick, which is Revlon's Va Va Violet (#663). I outlined my lips with a black eyeliner, smudged it inwards, towards the center of my lips, then applied the color. To lighten up the center of my lips, I dabbed a little concealer on the top and bottom lip. Once I had the lipstick on, that's when I started looking through my closet to find what to wear. I immediately pulled this gorgeous purple blouse out and began to search for her partner to complete the look. I already knew I wanted to wear a colored jean, which narrowed down my selection. I then paired the blouse next to these teal watercolored skinnies and felt they were a perfect match, plus the hubby approved ;)
