Maxed Out

Hey Guys!

I believe you've only seen me wear a maxi dress once on the blog and that's because I'm SUPER picky when it comes to them. Well, to be honest, I'm super picky about most things and I'm beginning to learn that about myself daily, lol. Sometimes, however, being picky IS good because it's a method of not settling for anything less than what you TRULY like.

I feel in love with this dress, for obvious reasons (right?). I loved the color, the style, and lace detailing, which sold me. It has a very feminine and playful feel to it, which I love during these warmer months.

The only thing I DON'T like about the dress, is that it's a little heavy and since I'm not busty, the top part of the dress pulls down a bit, exposing my bra sometimes, which can be annoying. I do plan on purchasing a plunge bra though and that should fix the minor problem.

I decided to pair these cut out cork style wedges because it enhanced the feminine and boho feel, plus they blended well with the lace detailing on the bust and back of the dress. I suggest wearing wedges when sporting a maxi dress, simply because it can be a bit annoying when the dress drags on the floor while wearing flats or sandals without heels. It can also help with petites, instead of having to visit a tailor, of course depending on how much long the dress is.
