Hello lovelies!

So, as you know from my previous post, Eddie & I celebrated Valentine's Day on Friday, instead of Thursday, to correspond with our weekly date night. We went to one of our favorite restaurants and steakhouse, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. We generally eat here for holiday celebrations. For appetizer, we had the Spicy Lobster (which is absolutely delicious and holds true to its name, spicy) and the veal stuffed ravioli, which we tried for the first time and loved. It was accompanied with a delicious side of spinach, which although it is a simple staple, however, the way they prepare/season it here, makes it extra special. For entrée, Eddie had the T-Bone and I had the filet mignon encrusted with blue cheese and panko bread crumbs (both cooked medium rare) with a lobster tail on the side, and we both shared a side of mashed potatoes. Finally, for dessert, we shared their famous bread pudding. This bread pudding is by far the best that I have ever had, of course with a side of cappuccinos! I am so sorry that I don't have pictures of our food this week. Since this was such a romantic evening, we kinda got lost in discussion and fun :)

Now on to what I was wearing. This restaurant is a formal setting, so I would highly recommend wearing a nice dress, skirt, or pants and for the men, a suit, or a dark wash denim jean with an elegant sweater, my husband prefers the Ralph Lauren Polo sweaters, and loafers or dressy shoes. I chose to wear the purple dress that I featured in my "3 Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas" video. I just changed the belt and the shoes that were worn in the video and wore a nice scarf/cover up (featured in my previous fashion haul video) around my shoulders, since it was a little chilly in the restaurant.

As always, I hope you find the post helpful and definitely let me know if you have ever been to this restaurant or are planning on going! Also, let me know down in the comment's section, what were your plans for Valentine's Day or the weekend, if any.
