Hey Guys!
For the first time, Eddie and I had Russian food last night and we had a great experience! One of his co-workers is Russian and suggested this restaurant in Brooklyn, Nargis Cafe. He's Russian and from Brooklyn, so we took his word for it and we're so glad we did! The food was absolutely delish and the staff was extremely friendly. If you decide to go, we suggest calling to make a reservation, if not, you'll most likely have to wait for about 30 minutes for a table; they get packed!
AVOCADO SALAD: One of their most popular salads, which is great to share!
TRADITIONAL RUSSIAN BREAD:
SAMSAS: Stuffed with ground meat. If you've ever eaten Indian Samosas, these are quite similar
KABOBS: R--->L: Ribs, chicken, steak, beaf, and lamb
Since we're in Brooklyn, I wanted to go for an usual mixture of pattern and print with a hint of leather. Brooklyn, to me, is the it place for funky street style and fashion, so I always get a lot of inspiration walking the streets of Park Slope and Dumbo. What do you think of the pairing? A bit funky, I know, but that's exactly what I was going for ;)
