For today, I went with an all black leather look with subtle hints of radiant orchid, which looks gorgeous against the black leather. Yes it's true that black goes with everything, but there are certain colors and hues that appear more vibrant and enriched when paired with it, especially leather, since the sheen from the texture enhances the sheen of those colors, such as jeweled tones.
When getting dressed today, I knew that I wanted to wear a black leather look, but I didn't want it to be too reminiscent of the 90's, when leather suits and pants were a huge trend, so I added a black turban to put a modern spin on it. So for the bottoms, instead of wearing leather leggings, I opted for these black jeans with a leather trim down the sides of the leg. It added a nice hint of contrast and tied in well with the theme I was going for. To complete the ensemble, I paired the look with my favorite and probably my most worn shoes this season, my black leather booties.
