Hey Guys!

While thinking of what to create for today's post, I felt inspired to share a great free closet revamp idea you can actually do with your friends and/or family. It'll first require you and your buddies to thoroughly clean out your closets and draws, while deciding which pieces you not only like, but actually wear. Often times we have pieces sitting in our closets waiting for the opportunity to show themselves off to the world, but never have the chance. We either make those purchases because they were on sale or we liked them at the time, but didn't consider how and when we'd be wearing them. If this is the case, get rid of them! They'll only take up room in your closet and cultivate hoarding tendencies. Since you just simply have no practical use for these pieces, even though they are in mint condition or even have tags still on them, you can still give them away and this is where the fun part comes in!

After folding all the pieces that you don't wear or perhaps no longer fit well, place them in a bag and set a date for all your girlfriends to meet up, preferably at one of your houses, to do a clothing swap. This is great way to add some new pieces to your wardrobe without having to spend a dime. The reason I feel it would be best to do this at a home, is because you'd all need to try the clothing on to ensure that they either fit perfectly or could be easily enhanced to fit by a tailor. If more than one of you like a particular piece that one of your fellow girlies is giving away, you can all come up with a way to fairly choose who'd get the item.

You could also, of course, include other items in the swap, such as accessories and beauty products and create cute take home bags to make it something extra special and fun!

I hope you found this post helpful and that it gave you a fun idea on not only how to add new pieces to your wardrobe, but in a fun and free way, too!
