Happy Friday, dear friends!

First, I want to apologize for not having a post up like I usually would yesterday; I really needed to take an extra day to rest a little, plus Eddie was off for the first time for what seems like forever, so I wanted to spend some quality time with him as well.

So you all know that I'm a sucker for all things colorful and printed, but styling them can be a bit of a challenge because the size and location of the print can certainly effect the way my shape looks. As many of you know, I'm a pear shape, so printed bottoms can either love me or hate me, so I really need to pay attention to the way I style them by carefully considering the other elements in my look. These paint splatter graphic jeans are nothing short of a statement, which is why I opted for a boxy knitted pink sweater to help balance out the attention. I could've opted for a boxy black knitted sweater and that would've worked, but in this case, I really wanted to create a more vivacious look, which is why I selected the pink sweater. I love how it pulls out the pink paint in the jeans even more! If you ever have a piece that contains a more muted or subtle color, you can easily bring it to the forefront by adding other pieces of that color to your pairing ;)

On a completely different note, I'm living in the Stone Age and have yet to get Snapchat. Do you have it and is it worth the hype? I heard you can only upload 10 seconds of video, I don't know what I could possibly share in that short amount of time. I mean, if I were to sneeze that would be the full 10 seconds (I sneeze in 3s)! Let me know your thoughts!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this post inspired you; have an amazing day and weekend ahead, dear friends!
