Hello beauties!
So as many of you know, at least those of you who follow my social media outlets, we didn't have date night on Friday night because of the snow storm that hit New York Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. I was so disappointed and I thought that we weren't going to end up having date night at all this weekend. Fortunately, we ended up having it and went to a seafood restaurant which is were we planned to go last week. The menu of seafood choices is endless, the menu was HUGE!!! The complimentary bread for the table was so delicious and was the largest I've seen! For appetizers, we ordered the buffalo shrimp, which were okay, and the crab cakes, which were out of this world delicious! For entree, I had the 1/2 of a 3lb crab stuffed lobster and my husband had the Sammy's Broiled Combination, which was basically a sampler of all the different sea food. It was so much food that we took two huge doggie bags home for lunch today (and I can eat!!!). Now on to my outfit.
I wanted to keep the top part of my outfit very basic, since I really wanted to showcase the beautiful watercolor pattern and color of the jeggings. I generally like to pair pieces that have bold color(s) or prints with neutrals or basics, so it can be the focal piece of the look and not appear to overwhelming with so much going on, although that does work sometimes! It was freezing, especially since we were right off of the Long Island Sound! I toughed it out, though, so I could show you guys the look, that's how much I love you all :) I definitely can't wait until Spring!
