Happy Wednesday my dear friends!

If you're a regular reader, you would've noticed that yesterday I didn't share a post. I was just way too tired from the shower, I didn't have the brain nor creative power to create a post. Though the shower is technically for me and baby, I'm one of those people that loves to see people enjoy themselves, so I was doing a little co-hosting with my mom, who was the actual host, in ensuring everyone was enjoying themselves and eating well. I'll be sharing some photos on Friday of the food and setup and I'll try to find one of me by myself. I absolutely love the dress I went with, which had an embroidered overlay; I have to show it to you! Anyway, the posting schedule this week will be M,W,F and I'll be catching up with comments in between, since again, I've been so tired, I haven't been able to respond as fast, but I will!

Happy Monday my gorgeous friends!

Today's post will be short and sweet because I'm pooped from our baby shower, which was so much fun! I know some of you were able to catch a little sneak peek of the setup on IG Stories and loved it and I'm so glad you did! If you weren't able to see it, no worries, I'll be sharing some photos either Wednesday or Friday!

Happy Friday friends!

We've talked A LOT about stripes here on The Style Contour and that's because they're such a classic! Year after year, we see various spins on the classic black and white, the latest being the banker stripes we've discussed last week (here here). Regardless of what form the stripe takes in terms of trends, we will always turn back to the ultimate classic, black and white horizontals. Why? Well, they're extremely versatile and believe it or not, can be flattering, though fit and some attention to details are to be considered, as we've discussed in this post, so I won't reiterate all the details here.

Happy Thursday my lovely friends!

Today's post is on a piece that's perfect for light layering for those chilly spring and summer nights or for times you want to add a little extra coverage to your outfit, i.e. you're wearing a shorter dress, skirt, or shorts and don't feel comfortable exposing much in the back. What I love about kimonos is that everyBODY can wear them, they're so versatile and are flattering for every body shape and height.
