Happy Labor Day my sweet friends!
It's been one full week since my last blog post. I explained both on Twitter and Instagram that the reason was that I had a really busy mommy week. Every time I sat down to write, I ended up having to do something pertaining to Aviah. Plus, I just really wanted to spend extra time with her. Generally, I'll prepare content and respond to comments when she's sleeping and when she's awake, I give her my undivided attention, unless Eddie's home having some daddy-daughter time. She turned two months this past Saturday, so I try and soak up as much time as I can with her because she's growing so fast. The days feel like blurs making the time seem to go that much faster, can any of my fellow mamas relate?!
Anyway, it's September, my birthday month, woohoo! I'm at the very end of the month, the 29th, so I have a long time to go, haha. I'll be 29 on the 29th, which makes this birthday even more special because it only happens once. Eddie's birthday is this Thursday and our 9 year wedding anniversary will be on October 7th, so we have a month long celebration!
As for my outfit, I've incorporated two strong summer trends for the unofficial last day of summer, eyelet and gingham. I've never combined the two together before. I love the way the eyelet cutouts reinforce the white squares in the gingham print, making them pop more. I went for a classic red lip to add a hint of color and to polish off the look, along with a pair of nude pumps. Remember, when it comes to nudes, no one shade is the same for us all.
