An All White Look with a Pop of Yellow

Happy Friday my lovely friends!

I've spoken about my love for monochromatic looks so many times and the flattering effects they can have in both slimming and elongating the body. I've also shared many tips on how to bring them to life by adding and mixing up the details, since they can easily fall flat on the body. Most of the times when I wear them, I'll throw in a hint of another color or a neutral to break things up a bit.

In today's look, I decided to add a pop of yellow with a faux leather jacket. I love colorful leather jackets come spring and summer because they make great outerwear choices for when its a bit cool, especially for a date night (even more so if you'll be by the water!). The bolder colors make it more seasonal. I paired it with a flowy lace cami underneath that would still complete the look if the jacket were to be removed. The flowy texture and the lace detail add something more distinct to the outfit that makes it work just as well.

All white can be done, regardless of your body shape, it all comes down to the styling and working with pieces that lay on the body in a flattering way.
