Hello gorgeous ladies!

Today, we had such a hectic day, which wasn't on the agenda. Don't you feel that as much as you try to plan your day out, something always ends up sneaking in?! So I guess the saying is true, "write your plans with an eraser", because you never know when you'll have a change of plans! We had intended on going to the beach, but thunderstorms were in the forecast for the entire day and can you believe that it didn't even rain, at all?!

As for my outfit, ever since we came back from Aruba, I've been attracted to neons and bright colors because I believe that it enhances one's tan, so if you find that you're getting a little tan and want to visually enhance it or appear darker, add some neon or brights to your look, whether in nail polishes or accessories. I just recently purchased these neon/hot pink shoes from the Nine West Outlet a couple of weeks ago. I had been on the hunt for a nice pair of hot pink shoes and I was so happy to have finally come across a pair I liked, and I got them on sale, which always makes things better, right?

I love creating casual suit looks with blazers and shorts during the spring and summer months because I feel the two themes blend so nicely. When I first purchased this blazer, which I believe was over a year ago at Charlotte Russe (for only $5!!!), I wasn't too fond about the shape. I felt that it was very in boxy shape and didn't highlight my contoured waistline, but I realized that I can always add a thin waist belt across to create a peplum look. What I do love about it, is of course the color, but also the fact that it's linen, which makes it extremely cool and light weight. I highly suggest if you work in a business casual environment that you check out your nearest Charlotte Russe for some of their linen blazers. They come in so many pretty colors and they're extremely affordable. I added this really cool happy face pin, which was gifted to me by a company called Von Ray Boutique. They specialize in creating (custom designs) pins for whatever you fancy. They're pins have also been spotted on celebs, such as Randy Jackson from American Idol and Carly Rae Jepsen, to name a couple! They're a nice way to add an instant glam vibe to an otherwise boring outfit. I also find that they're a pretty cool conversation piece, too!

I hope you all have a fun and safe rest of the week and don't forget to check back to see where we ate and what I wore for date night!
