Hello beauties!

So my cold has been clearing up a bit, slowly, but it has. I actually feel much better when I'm out on the beach and in the water than when I'm in the resort, we believe it's because of the air conditioning. But anyway, Monday night, we decided to have dinner at the oriental restaurant and the food and service was superb! Our waiter knew right away that I was from New York, he said it was because of my accent, lol, and he called me Miss New York the entire night, yeah if only, lol! Afterwards, we caught an hour long show performed at the resort pool, which was well done!

As for my outfit, I chose to rock these gorgeous tribal print shorts that I purchased not too long ago from Forever 21. I absolutely loved the color combination and print, as soon as I laid my eyed on them! Since I'm more bottom heavy and prints can give the illusion of an even larger bottom half, in my case, I chose to pair them with a flowy purple jeweled tone top. The sleeves drape on the sides, almost giving off a cape like vibe, as well as around the waist area and the top had a turtleneck, which causes the eye to look up, as well. I dressed them up here for a night out, but I'm totally excited about dressing them down. I would totally suggest this look for both an apple and rectangular shaped woman. For the apple, it's perfect because the top is very basic, but not too basic since it has a bit of sheen and the color is very rich, while the lower portion, where apple shaped women want to focus, offers print and color. For the rectangular shape, this is perfect because a top like this, although pretty basic in pattern, is very flowy, which will give the appearance of a larger bust in their case, and where the folding of the top is, will add some interest to the undefined waistline. The shorts create focus to the bottom half as well.

Stay tuned for more pictures tomorrow!
