So I finally found and purchased a black moto jacket that I actually liked! I've been looking for one for what seems like forever and I just couldn't find the one, until a couple of days ago when strolling through TjMaxx. This jacket was literally calling my name, it was the last one and in my size, common, if that's not a sign, then what is?! I love moto jackets because they help to add a bit of edginess to any outfit, extending the wear of practically everything in our wardrobes. It's amazing how one item can do all that, right?!
The first pairing idea that came to my head when I was standing on line about to purchase this jacket was this one. I wanted to go for a city slicker vibe and when driving around we came across this building that totally went with the theme of the outfit. I do want to mention that I did not break the window behind me, haha, but doesn't it work well as a backdrop to the look?! My advice in styling a leather jacket is to have fun with it and make it your own by using a piece(s) of clothing that represents your personal style and use the jacket as a bit of a contrast, that way you're making it your own. If you're having some trouble finding a good style, a couple of years ago, I did a blog post on the different leather jacket styles that are the most flattering for each body shape, which you can check out here. I explained how zippers, folding, length and pockets can help work with your body, depending on where all of those things are placed.
I hope you all have an amazing day my beautiful friends and thanks so much for stopping by!
