Hello beautiful people!

So, I hope you all have watched my most recent YouTube video on 3 New Year's Eve outfit ideas. If you have, you will notice that this outfit was not featured in that video because I actually picked up this dress un-expectantly at the mall a few days ago. If you follow me on twitter, then you probably saw the tweet about this dress. I tweeted that it was originally $98 and I purchased it for....$40, what a deal!!! Right away I thought, "New Year's dress." If you are still a little on the fence about what you're going to wear and are not in to the whole YouTube world, then let me just advise you here.

I would say the rule of thumb when it comes to New Year's Eve attire would be sparkle and glitter. Anything that sparkles is fair game. That sounds easy enough, right?! Ok, but what if you don't have anything sparkly, what should you wear then you ask?! I would say then the next rule would be to wear something that has a festive color, such as gold or silver. A silver or gold top, skirt, or dress would do the trick! But if you don't have anything gold or silver, then wear all black with either silver or gold jewelry. If you have diamond or rhinestone pieces, it would look great. The colors up against a black number will surely pop and exude a New Year's feel. You also have the option of playing around with makeup. So, if you're good at doing makeup, then play up your talent/gift and work that into your look.

I hope you all have a wonderful start to the New Year and welcome it with the ones you love! I hope that all your goals will be accomplished and you will do whatever you set your heart to do. I'll see you all in the New Year!!

Here are some pictures of today's outfit of the day, featuring my most recent purchase, this beautiful dress from The Limited:
