My Tory Surprise!

Hello beauties!

FINALLY!!! I received my Valentine's Day gift in the mail this morning, my Tory Burch Amanda Tote. My husband really knows my style and how particular I am and he chose this beautiful purse all on his own! What originally ended up happening was that he went to the actual store and inquired about the tote and called the associate on the phone to tell her that he would definitely be purchasing it for me, as a Valentine's Day gift. When he arrived at the store, she already had it wrapped and waiting. On Friday night, when we were getting ready to go out for dinner, I opened the passenger side door to find a HUGE Tory Burch bag awaiting me! I opened it up and he appeared a bit inquisitive, he eventually told me that the one that I had opened was not the one that he had intended to purchase, this was the Amanda Hobo. He knows that I generally prefer tote style purses, for the most part. He called the store the following morning, even though I told him that I still loved the one I had, to see what went wrong. The associate was extremely apologetic and ordered the one that he intended on purchasing in the first place, with over night delivery at no cost to us! This was extremely impressive to us because when we shop at designer stores our expectations are extremely high, as they ought to be!

So with all that said, I wanted to style an outfit around this new addition to my purse family! What immediately came to my mind was the brand new houndstooth jacket that I just purchased from Caché on Saturday, as well as these beautiful vibrant blue velvet skinnies. I wanted some added pop of color, simply because I just love wearing color as much as possible, especially on days like this, in New York it is currently rainy and a bit gloomy. The color just amps me up and changes my mood!
