Hello Beauties!

Remember I mentioned that I wasn't sure if I'd be attending the event planned for yesterday in Tuesday's post, due to the storm? Well, thankfully I was able to attend because it wasn't canceled, only pushed back an hour, since the snow stopped early in the morning.

I had such an amazing time previewing the pieces from the Daisy Fuentes intimate apparel fall 2014 collection, which is a collaboration with Carrie Amber Intimates and the event was hosted by Red Light PR. Every piece had me thinking, "I'd so wear that" or "that's so me" and I'm sure some of you will agree when you view some of the pieces, since you know which is my favorite print by now. The collection will carry a complete assortment of bras, panties, sleepwear, and lingerie. Each piece, which can be mixed and matched, feature playful prints and vibrant warm colors. The targeted customers are between the ages of 25-55, thus infusing a nice mixture of modern basics with inspiration from the latest in fashion and trends.

Here are my faves from the collection:

Daisy and a rep from Cosmopolitan Latina

For my outfit, I decided to wear a look that was a mixture of glam and sport. One of the popular trends for spring is the use of sporty pieces mixed with glam or sophisticated pieces. For my glam piece, I decided to wear this gorgeous spike and rhinestone embellished sweater by Michael Kors, Nine West pointed toe shoes, and a red lip. I actually lined my lips with Milani's Sugar Plum to give it a deeper hue. For my sporty piece, I wore these awesome sports pants that resemble Adidas  For my jewelry, I wore studs so the eye could focus on the sweater and not have to fight for attention, however, I wore a Kenneth Cole sporty looking watch. Finally, I wore my hair in a ponytail with 3 hair ties going down the center, to enhance the sporty vibe.
