BLOUSE: Similar | FAUX LEATHER SHORTS: Similar | BAG: Similar | SHOES

Happy Wednesday my beautiful friends!

For the past few seasons, statement tops have been trending pretty hard. Be it full on prints, balloon sleeves or ruffles; tops with details have been helping those most of us on a crunch for time head out the door looking stylish with less fuss. What I love about them is that you can choose to enhance the details in creating a more elevated, fashion-forward look by implementing various textures and details in the your other pieces or allow for the top to do all the work by styling it with a pair of basic denim or pants. If you've been reading my blog for a couple of years now, you may remember this top because I've styled it numerous times. I love it that much. I've styled it with a pair of jeans and burgundy accessories (seen here), only pulling out the color in the top. Today, I've chosen to style it with a pair of brown leather shorts. Not only does it add a trendy and seasonable touch of leather (texture) but it's practical for those fall days when it's warmer. This combination may seem a bit much for the everyday, but I think it would look cute for a girls' brunch or an event that you'd get a bit dressed up for, but that's a bit relaxed.

I encourage you to experiment this season with at least one statement blouse. If not with ruffles or voluminous sleeves, perhaps a printed one. Though I'm not wearing it here, snakeskin is trending big time this season, so that would be a great option. In fact, I recently purchased this snakeskin blouse, which I will be styling soon on the blog. It's selling out really fast (only two sizes left) which is why I'm also mentioning it, so if you like it and they happen to have your size, you can snag it. But, I happened to find a blouse that's a bit similar to the one I'm wearing today (here) and as of now, it's fully stocked.

Anyway, are you into statement tops for fall?

I hope you have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
