Hello Beauties!

Last night, Eddie and I ate at an Italian restaurant we haven't been to in quite a while and what encouraged us to go was the deal they were having on Groupon. It was overall a good experience, but there was a bit of a problem with my entrée. This tends to happen every so often, Eddie orders the yummier dish and I end up ordering a not so good meal. I originally ordered pasta with garlic, broccoli, and peppers, but when I got it, it was nothing special and I couldn't taste the garlic at all and I LOVE garlic, so that was everything! Then, I glanced over across the table at Eddie, who was enjoying his dish and as he looked up from his plate and took one look at me, he knew right away I was not satisfied, so he suggested I send it back and order what he had and was enjoying. Our waiter was so nice and understanding, he took my dish back without any questions, as well as Eddie's, so that we could enjoy our dinner together. I've been to restaurants that haven't asked to return his dish as well and have also tried to charge us for both dishes, the one I sent back and the one I ended up eating, for three entrées total! So you know I was pleased with the way he handled himself and the situation.

APPETIZER/SALAD: SAME EACH: Green bean salad

ENTRÉE: WE BOTH HAD: Shrimp in a garlic tomato sauce (I tasted AND saw huge chunks of garlic!)

DESSERT TO SHARE: Homemade Tiramisu

Since spring has finally greeted us, I went with a very spring dinner look. I absolutely love pink and white together, as I do most colors with white, but there's something so feminine and girly about pink and white that's perfect during this season. You've heard me mention time and time again how peplum works wonders for the rectangular shape because it creates the illusion of hips and emphasis on the waistline, so if you have this shape, I highly suggest you get a few peplum pieces and not just tops, skirts as well, which are super trendy and easy to find these days. I also suggest shorter peplum tops, like the one I'm wearing, if you're have a long torso and shorter legs. This style top visually shortens the torso, making the legs appear longer. As for the white pants, I'd suggest my apple shapes to get a pair, as they help add some visual weight to your legs, especially in photos. When the flash of the camera reflects off the pant, it makes one appear a bit fuller or thicker ;)
