Hey dear friends!

Today, I want to share a styling strategy that will help to add visual length to your torso, if you either want to appear taller or if you just wish to balance out your longer legs by making your torso appear longer as well. I'm actually combining two techniques in this look, using both a cropped (faux fur) coat and a longer sweater. A cropped coat helps to lengthen the torso because it stops higher than a full length coat would and a longer top helps to visually expand the length of your torso, extending past your natural hip bone. You could try either strategies on their own; the combination of the two work well in flattering both the pear & hourglass shapes specifically, since the longer top, if it's a little form fitting, can draw additional attention to the hips, which some may not necessarily want. To further enhance the heightened effects, literally, I added these camo printed boots, which I'm obsessed with! They work to help counteract the visual weight the lighter wash of the denim creates because they're pointed toe, which not only creates visual length, but also slims the leg as well. With that, if you have thinner legs and want them to appear fuller, I'd suggest almond or rounded toe shoes ;)

I hope you found this post helpful my beautiful and dear friends! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope your day is as amazing as YOU!
