Hello Beauties!
This past week has been so hectic, yet relaxing, spending time with my family for Christmas and now leading up to New Year's. Despite the busyness of this holiday season, I hope you've been spending quality time with your loved ones as well!
This week was a special date night because my mom accompanied both Eddie and I, since she's staying with us until New Year's, we've been enjoying every minute with her; she's so much fun and so much like me or I should say I'm so much like her! All three of us have a blast when we're together, laughing, joking, and chatting about life in general, which we did most of at last night's dinner. We decided to have Turkish for the first time (for Eddie and I, my mom's had it before), and it's much like Israeli or just Middle Eastern in general, if you're familiar.
APPETIZER: Falafel
APPETIZER: Hummus
After our dinner, we caught a movie, Saving Mr. Banks, which was really good! If you're thinking about seeing it and are a bit confused about the title, since it's said to be about Walt Disney, let me just explain briefly without giving too much away. Mr. Banks is the character in Marry Poppins and the movie follows Mr. Walt Disney, played by Tom Hanks, on his semi challenging experience in having the movie created and it's origin, as well as the struggles in bringing to life this character we call and know as Mr. Banks.
I decided to wear black and white pairing for the evening, with gold accents, since I felt it helped complete my classic chic look I was going for.
My mom went with a more edgy look, which I wanted to show you, since I thought she looked great! I also wanted to show you guys her sweater and coat I helped her pick out at Marshall's. The coat is by Guess and is currently available on their site, I'll place the info down below if you're interested.
