Hello my gorgeous friends!

Are you one of those people who don't like the way silver and gold look worn together, believe it's a fashion faux pas, or fall into either the cool or warm skin tone category? If you've answered yes to at least one of those questions, this post is for you, my love!

For a while, I was one of those people who felt that silver and gold didn't look good together, mainly because of their complete opposite metal properties, one being warm (gold), the other being cool (silver). It wasn't until I started noticing jewelry pieces that included both with an additional metal that made the combination that much more appealing to me.

What metal is that you ask? Rose gold! While there have always been collections that have combined both silver and gold, they never really appealed to me. What I found interesting was that the trio of metals captured my eye most! Of course I started to think about why I gravitated towards pieces that included this particular mix, rather than the duo and I think I now know why.

Rose gold is flattering on every skin tone, but why? Why is it flattering on all skin tones, while the other two show preference to a specific undertone? I believe it's because it has both cool and warm properties, making it more visually appealing and flattering against all skin tones!

Getting back to mixing metals. If rose gold is able to flatter both cool and warm undertones, then it's also able to balance out the metals themselves when combined! So, if you have cool undertones, know this, you can wear gold in a way that will flatter your skin tone when you add rose gold into the mix, same is true with wearing silver on warm undertones! Pretty cool, right!?

I hope you found this tip helpful for wearing both silver and gold pieces together in a way that's sure to flatter, regardless of your skin tone! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope your day is as beautiful as you!
