Happy Monday beautiful friends!
I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and are off to a great start to your week! A recurring trend popping up this season that I personally love, is color blocking. I actually hate to refer to color blocking as a trend because I feel at this point, it has stood the test of time, and should be deemed a classic. What are your thoughts?
During this time of year, I like to get inspired by the leaves changing and the yummy seasonal dishes we're making. I always try to stress the importance of looking for inspiration anywhere and everywhere you can, it's so easy to be found! In today's outfit, I've pulled some inspiration from some seasonal fruit, plums and tangerines. I threw in a bit of emerald in my shoes, because I love the way it looks with both colors, but if you feel it's a bit too much for you, some cognac or camel brown shoes would also look beautiful. All three of these colors have rich tones and the eggplant and emerald are jewel tones, making this trio a perfect option for any skin tone or color. I feel they help to create a luminous effect to both the skin and hair, which is important this time of year, since both can get a little dull and dry due to the colder weather.
Oh, and I wanted to also point out that I'm wearing the same Kushyfoot peep-toe foot covers I introduced you to in Friday's post. I tested them out on my peep-toe booties a few times and loved them, but I wanted to see how they'd look and feel when worn with peep-toe pumps. As you can see, they do show a little on the sides. I personally don't mind it because I don't feel it's extremely noticeable nor a big deal for every day wear, but I wanted to let you see what they'd look like with this kind of pump, so you have an idea on how they would look :)
What colors do you like to combine the most during this time of year and do you feel that color blocking is a trend or classic?!
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Xo,
