TGIF, my dear friends

Today I'm wearing a sweater I wish I would've worn sooner because it has since sold out and I can't find anything that's quite similar to suggest. It's a one size fits all, so you know what that means...it stretches a lot and conforms to the body and that's exactly what I need right now with my growing bump.

At first, the material felt a little weird to me, overly thick and stretchy (polyester and acrylic) and the pockets were fully exposed in a way that looked unflattering, so I cut them. You guys, it's SO warm, comfy, and super flattering! I've learned that sweaters with pockets on the front and side do not flatter a fuller midsection at all, it just makes everything look much larger and round. Even though this one has pockets on the front, the linear pattern that is flattering for a larger midsection is continued throughout the entire sweater, including the pockets, which make them blend in more and don't create unwanted fullness.

Though this particular sweater is no longer available, if you happen to come across a similar style, I definitely suggest you give it a try, especially if you have more of an apple shape or are pregnant and want to flatter your bump.

I hope you found some inspiration in today's post, my gorgeous friends, and I hope you have the most amazing weekend ahead!
